Our is a leading Agri company and are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join their team as a Horticulture Manager. The operation of 1500ha farm that is involved in mixed farming.
Responsibilities:

Planning and Strategy:

Develop and implement horticultural strategies aligned with the company's goals.

Create detailed plans for planting, cultivating, and harvesting various crops and plants.

Crop Management:
-
Monitor and manage the growth, health, and overall quality of crops.

Implement pest control measures and disease management strategies.
-
Optimize crop yields through efficient cultivation techniques.
-
Team Leadership:
-
Lead and supervise a team of horticulturists, gardeners, and other staff members.

Provide training and support to ensure the team meets productivity and quality standards.

Resource Management:

Manage and allocate resources effectively, including budgeting for equipment, supplies, and labour.

Ensure the proper maintenance and functionality of horticultural tools and machinery.

Research and Innovation:

Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in horticulture.
