What We’re Looking For

We’re searching for a hospitality professional who leads with warmth, confidence, and precision.
The ideal candidate will have:

  • A valid South African ID
  • A Matric certificate (Grade 12)
  • Hospitality qualification will be an advantage
  • Minimum 2 years of Front Office Supervisory or Reception Shift Leader experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, professional demeanour
  • Confidence in managing guest enquiries, feedback, and complaints with empathy and efficiency
  • Experience with hotel property management systems (Opera experience)
  • Strong organisational ability, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • A calm and motivating leadership style with a team-first approach

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the front desk team to deliver seamless, welcoming service from check-in to check-out
  • Maintain a professional and efficient lobby atmosphere while managing guest flow and room allocations
  • Handle guest queries and resolve challenges with care and professionalism
  • Mentor, motivate, and develop your team to reflect the service excellence of The President Hotel
  • Collaborate with other departments, housekeeping, concierge, and reservations to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences
  • Maintain high standards of presentation and service in all front office areas
  • Lead by example, setting the tone for professionalism and positivity throughout the team
