We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor with a background in large-scale 4 or 5-star hotels to join our Rooms Division team. You will play a key role in ensuring that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet luxury cleanliness and presentation standards. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, you will supervise a team of attendants, assist in daily operations, and ensure exceptional guest experiences through attention to detail and operational excellence.

Experience & Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in housekeeping roles within large-scale 4 or 5-star hotels, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity

• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, laundry procedures, and quality standards

• Proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team of housekeeping attendants

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining luxury standards

• Professional, guest-centric approach to service

• Must hold a valid South African ID

• Key competencies: Leadership, operational excellence, guest-centric mindset, time management, teamwork, and adaptability

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of housekeeping attendants to maintain high performance

• Conduct inspections to ensure rooms and public areas meet luxury standards

• Report maintenance issues, lost and found items, and operational challenges to the Executive Housekeeper

• Support training and onboarding of new team members

• Monitor cleaning schedules and allocate tasks to meet operational efficiency

• Ensure proper use and care of cleaning equipment and supplies

• Uphold hygiene, health, and safety standards across all areas

• Handle guest requests and feedback professionally, ensuring prompt resolution

• Assist in inventory control, linen management, and stock replenishment
