Job Purpose

The Internal IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s internal IT infrastructure, systems, security, support operations, cloud platforms, and end-user technology services. This role ensures the stability, security, scalability, and operational efficiency of all internal technology environments while aligning IT services with business objectives.

Infrastructure & Systems Management

  • Manage and maintain all internal IT infrastructure, including:
    • Servers
    • Virtualization platforms
    • Networking
    • Storage
    • Cloud platforms
    • Microsoft 365 environments
    • Identity and access management
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of business-critical systems.
  • Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
  • Manage datacentre, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure environments.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Oversee cybersecurity strategy and operational implementation.
  • Ensure systems comply with security standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Manage:
    • Endpoint security

    • SIEM/SOC integrations
  • Coordinate incident response and remediation activities.

  • Establish and monitor SLAs and KPIs.
  • Ensure efficient incident, problem, and change management practices.
  • Improve operational maturity and automation across IT functions.

Cloud & Platform Management

  • Manage cloud infrastructure and hosting environments including:
    • VMware
    • Hyper-V
    • Kubernetes platforms
    • Hybrid cloud environments
  • Oversee cloud cost optimization and resource governance.
  • Evaluate and implement modern infrastructure technologies.

Vendor & Project Management

  • Manage relationships with:

Technical Experience

  • Strong experience with:

    • Cybersecurity operations
