Based : Dealesville (Free State)

Salary : R40 000.pm

Core Purpose of the Role

To manage and optimise all aspects of silo operations to achieve profitability, efficiency, and high service standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a grain or silo environment in a management role
• Completed Fumigation Certificate
• Completed Grain Grading Certificates
• Proven experience in staff supervision and management

Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication skills in Afrikaans and English
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities
• Computer literate with strong administrative and organisational skills
• Experience in budget and cost management
• Sound knowledge of the agricultural market and business environment
• Strong business insight and decision-making skills

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the silo to ensure efficiency and profitability
• Lead and develop staff, promoting teamwork and accountability
• Manage and maintain high levels of customer service
• Ensure sound financial practices and strict budget control within the department
• Oversee all administrative and reporting functions related to silo operations
