Experience Requirements
-
1–3 years of proven experience as a Property Sales Agent, Real Estate Agent, or Property Consultant.

Experience in residential or commercial property sales, rentals, or developments.

Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Experience with client relationship management and negotiation.
-
Familiarity with property market trends, legal documentation, and transfer processes.
-
Advantageous: Experience working with property listing portals (e.g. Property24, Private Property) and CRM systems.
🎓 Qualifications

Matric (Grade 12) – essential.
-
A valid Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC) issued by the EAAB (Estate Agency Affairs Board) – required to operate legally.

NQF Level 4 Real Estate Qualification (Further Education and Training Certificate in Real Estate) – preferred or in progress.

Driver’s License and own reliable transportation – essential.

Additional training in sales, marketing, or property management is advantageous.
💼 Duties and Responsibilities
1. Sales & Client Relations
-
Source, list, and market properties for sale or rent.
-
Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, sellers, and landlords.
-
Conduct property viewings, open houses, and client meetings.
-
Advise clients on market conditions, property values, and related matters.
-
Negotiate offers, counteroffers, and ensure successful closings.
2. Marketing & Lead Generation
-
Create attractive marketing materials and online listings.
-
Promote properties through digital platforms, social media, and traditional advertising.
-
Prospect for new clients via cold calling, networking, referrals, and walk-ins.
3. Administration & Documentation
-
Prepare sales agreements, lease contracts, and other relevant documentation.

Maintain accurate client and property records.
-
Coordinate with conveyancers, banks, and attorneys to finalize transactions.
-
Ensure compliance with EAAB and Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA) guidelines.
4. Market Knowledge & Reporting

Stay up to date with current market trends and pricing strategies.

Conduct Comparative Market Analyses (CMA) to determine property values.

Report weekly on leads, conversions, and sales progress to management.
