Our client is looking for an experienced and dynamic Lodge Manager to oversee the full operations of a luxury lodge. This live-in position requires a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to sustainable tourism. The role involves managing both people and processes to ensure a world-class guest experience while maintaining operational efficiency and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of lodge operations, including guest experience, maintenance, kitchen, finance, and staff management

  • Lead and develop the senior lodge team and broader staff

  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure projects

  • Ensure infrastructure, IT systems, security, healthcare, and environmental health are effectively maintained

  • Liaise with government bodies to ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements

  • Support conservation, sustainability, and community development initiatives

  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure lodge compliance

  • Manage the lodge’s digital presence and contribute to internal communications

  • Innovate and enhance guest experiences while staying aligned with the lodge’s heritage and brand standards

  • Foster strong relationships with guests, both new and returning

  • Oversee procurement efficiencies and operational checklists
