Job Description:

The role of Financial Accountant is crucial to our accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements and reports, managing budgets and forecasts, performing financial analysis and providing insights, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, conducting internal audits, and ensuring compliance. You will also assist with tax preparation and audits.

Job Duties:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports
• Manage budgets and forecasts to ensure financial stability
• Perform thorough financial analysis and provide valuable insights
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable to maintain positive relationships with vendors and clients
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
• Assist with tax preparation and audits to ensure compliance with tax laws

Required Qualifications:

• Professional qualification in accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIMA)
• Proven experience as a Financial Accountant
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Excellent proficiency in accounting software
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all work

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting
• Sound understanding of financial reporting standards
• Advanced Excel skills for efficient financial analysis
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with team members and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Previous experience in the same industry sector
• Experience with financial modelling to aid in decision making
• Professional certification to demonstrate expertise and commitment to the field advantageous 

Working Conditions:

The Financial Accountant operates in an office environment, typically working standard office hours. Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods or financial reporting deadlines.
