Are you seeking a dynamic career opportunity that offers flexibility in location? Our company is currently hiring for a Business Development Consultant within the Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) region, with the option to work remotely or in one of our offices located in Harare or Cape Town.
Responsibilities:

To contribute to the strategic direction of the business through identifying and creating commercial ‘recruitment solutions’ for major business wins

To work with the delivery function to identify and maximise new business opportunities in existing clients and leverage all commercial opportunities across major key accounts

To achieve specific new business targets and growth goals

To contribute to the strategic direction of the business through identifying and creating commercial ‘recruitment solutions’ for major business wins:

Through high level networking, constantly seeks and identifies new and commercial business opportunities
-
Proactively maps and networks with C Suite contacts to develop strategically important relationships
-
Is instrumental in the creation of the Client Development Strategy
-
Meets and monitors their own monthly new business activities
-
Delivers against the overall Client Development Strategy
-
Initiates new and innovative client development vehicles
-
Works closely with marketing to identify new client engagement strategies based upon client and market demands
-
Identifies and attends all relevant industry events + networking opportunities
-
Keeps abreast of industry updates and is 'known' as a Market Expert in their field

Is a member of relevant industry Associations / networking groups
-
Initiates and leads new client pitches and major account opportunities

Markets MPC's to senior level contacts

Market evangelist - with support of marketing, actively blogs and creates industry engaging content regularly

Runs an industry 'group' on Linkedin

In conjunction with marketing, creates webinars and strategy sessions to generate new business

Highly proactive in all areas of social media to create awareness and new business opportunities

Takes a lead role for high profile accounts

Proactively networks and upsells within existing clients

Leads review meetings were required with existing major accounts

Networks with C Suite contacts across the industry to develop new contacts in existing clients

Keeps abreast of industry challenges to ensure innovative recruitment solutions are being presented to clients

To achieve specific new business targets and growth goals

Analyses own performance regularly and ensures they are on track

Key Skills:

Proven track record in business development and sales, preferably within the recruitment industry.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.

Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with a focus on delivering value to clients.

Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities.

Organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of recruitment processes and best practices is desirable but not essential.
Qualifications:

Experience in business development or sales roles, preferably within the recruitment or staffing industry.

Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales targets and objectives.
-
Additional certifications or training in sales and marketing is a plus.
