Our client is looking for a seasoned QA Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of food safety regulations, particularly pertaining to food exports, with a focus on the UK market.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards for food safety.
- Oversee the quality control processes from raw material sourcing to finished product distribution.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of production facilities to identify and resolve any quality or safety issues.
- Collaborate with production teams to establish and maintain quality control measures throughout the manufacturing process.
- Manage and mentor a team of QA professionals to ensure effective execution of quality assurance initiatives.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on quality metrics, compliance status, and corrective actions to senior management.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and certification bodies to maintain certifications and ensure adherence to international standards.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and developments in food safety regulations, particularly in the UK market, and update company policies accordingly.

- Demonstrated experience in food export operations, including knowledge of export regulations and documentation requirements.
- Certification in quality management systems such as ISO 9001, HACCP, or SQF is preferred.
- Familiarity with the legalities of food safety in the UK market is essential.
