The Role

The Banqueting Head Chef will take full ownership of all banqueting and event culinary operations—from weddings and corporate functions to bespoke private dining and estate celebrations. This role requires a confident culinary leader with strong operational discipline, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and inspire the banqueting kitchen team to deliver consistently exceptional cuisine at scale

  • Conceptualise and execute refined, seasonally driven banqueting menus aligned with luxury standards

  • Ensure flawless execution across both high-volume and high-detail events

  • Uphold the highest standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and safety

  • Work closely with Events, Operations, and Front of House teams to deliver seamless guest experiences

  • Manage food costing, stock control, procurement, and kitchen budgets

  • Train, mentor, and develop culinary talent, fostering pride, accountability, and excellence

About You

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef within luxury banqueting, hotels, estates, or fine-dining environments

  • Strong understanding of premium hospitality standards and service expectations

  • Calm, decisive leader with excellent organisational and people-management skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure

  • Passion for elegant, produce-led cuisine with a modern luxury sensibility

  • Strong financial and operational acumen
