We are seeking a proactive and experienced broker consultant specializing in short-term personal lines and commercial lines to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in client relationship management, business development, and delivering tailored insurance solutions to meet the needs of individual and corporate clients.

Qualifications and Experience
- Matric certificate (Grade 12) is mandatory.
- Relevant insurance qualifications that is NOT NEGOTIABLE: RE5
- Class of business in personal and commercial lines
- A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in short-term and/or commercial insurance brokering outside supervisory, must be able to work independently in underwriting.
- FAIS/FICA accreditation is essential.
- A valid driver’s license and own vehicle are required.
Key Responsibilities 1. Client Acquisition and Retention o Identify and secure new business opportunities within the short-term and commercial insurance markets. o Build and maintain long-term relationships with individual and corporate clients. o Conduct regular client reviews to ensure continued alignment with their insurance needs. 2. Product and Policy Management o Provide expert advice on a range of short-term and commercial insurance products. o Customize insurance policies to suit the specific needs and risks of clients. o Ensure all policies are compliant with industry regulations and company standards. 3. Business Development o Proactively generate leads through networking, referrals, and marketing efforts. o Collaborate with underwriters to secure competitive rates and coverages for clients. o Maintain a strong understanding of market trends to identify new opportunities. 4. Administrative and Regulatory Compliance o Prepare and manage all necessary documentation, including proposals, policies, and reports. o Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, including FSCA requirements. o Maintain accurate records in the CRM system for tracking and reporting purposes.
