Our client is looking for a Head of Digital Marketing to join their team in Cape Town.

Leading the strategic development and implementation of digital marketing initiatives and campaigns supporting specific business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the strategic development and implementation of revenue-generating digital campaigns supporting specific business objectives

  • Managing the development of content marketing campaigns, including the management of a regional content hub approach

  • Managing the planning, deployment and optimization of search engine marketing initiatives 

  • Designing the digital marketing activation program for various regional marketing initiatives

  • Managing the optimization of the central digital advertising media allocation, including social media campaigns

  • Managing social media implementation, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and other

  • Steering the SSA digital marketing community, including sharing best practices and finding solutions across the network

  • Supervising the development and approving implementation of local digital communications campaigns

  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)

  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights

  • Produce relevant market, competitive and audience intelligence and insights to inform the strategic development of digital campaigns. 

  • Manage and maintain the company landing pages & digital communications, internally and externally

  • Track and analyze website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports

  • Continuously improves financial processes, systems, tools, and techniques 

  • Takes appropriate measures to remedy financial risk 

  • Ensures proper billing and cash collection processes are in place in the country within sub-region 

  • Analyzes complex issues in finance and significantly improves, changes or adapts existing methods and techniques. 

  • Prepares necessary frequent reports for MD, CFO West Africa cluster  , SSA Area office and SMT 

  • Analyze records of internal customer inquiries, purchases, service requests and complaints to identify trends 

  • To monitor finance KPIs, standards and reporting 

  • Balance operational metrics against customer service metrics Convinces others within the organization to accept proposals and solutions where there may be little interest in cooperating or participating 

  • Maintains relationships and provides financial expertise to Africa management board and top-level experts in the organization

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing

  • Digital Marketing course qualifications are advantageous

  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in Marketing

  • Minimum 3-5 years in Digital Marketing
