Our client is seeking a highly competent Accountant (CA(SA)) to join their team in the logistics and transportation industry.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports in compliance with IFRS.
• Manage the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and facilitate the audit process.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies.

• Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification is essential.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
