Our client is looking for a Financial Controller to join their team in Johannesburg.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a business partner to various departments/stakeholders.
• Preparation and distribution of monthly management reports and analysis of results (standard costing/variance/profitability/overheads/inventory valuations).
• Review existing and implement new controlling SOPs.
• Manage the finance team, debtors, creditors, and bookkeeping.
• Oversee inventory management with operations.
• Manage IT infrastructure.
• Compile accurate monthly accounts for the business.
• Ensure financial close procedures are in line, including account reconciliations and full review of P&L accounts.
• Maintain processes and procedures for efficient and effective management of operations, including billing and debtor management.
• Work with corporate functions to align with group standards.
• Complete accurate monthly forward forecasting.
• Manage and own the budget process in line with corporate timelines and requirements.
• Manage and own the annual financial audit process in line with timelines and requirements.
• Prepare and control the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes.
• Perform other ad-hoc reporting and analysis.

Qualifications:

• Professional accountancy qualification
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a finance management environment
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
• A valid Code 8 driver’s license and own transport
