Our client is looking for a senior Storeman with extensive experience in workshop store department functions and truck and truck trailer parts.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the workshop store department.
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming parts and materials, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain inventory records and ensure stock levels are adequate to meet workshop needs.
  • Process and fulfill parts and materials requests from technicians and other departments.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper labeling, organization, and storage of all parts and materials.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to order and replenish stock as needed.
  • Utilize computer systems to manage inventory, track orders, and generate reports.
  • Train and mentor junior store staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.

  • Proficiency in managing workshop store department functions.
  • Strong understanding of truck and truck trailer parts.

  • Computer literacy, with proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a workshop store department, with a focus on truck and truck trailer parts.
