Our client is looking for a Portfolio Manager in the Technology sector to join their team. The company is one of the largest privately-owned providers of specialised financial solutions and advisory services to businesses and high-net-worth individuals in South Africa.
Responsibilities:

Business Growth: Play a pivotal role in driving business growth, maximizing profitability, and fostering strong client relationships through effective new business development, rigorous financial analysis, and strategic cross-selling efforts.

New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within specific sectors (e.g., Agriculture, Transport, Technology, Renewable Energy, Yellow Metal, etc.).

Client Pipeline: Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients (and/or suppliers where applicable) and deals.

Market Analysis: Analyse market trends to capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Client Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of client needs and propose tailored financial solutions.

Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to structure deals that meet both client requirements and company objectives.

Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.

Ability to understand and analyse financial statements.

Driver’s License (Code 08).

Clean Credit Record.

Familiarity with the National Credit Act.
