Job Duties:

• Supervise and coordinate the processing operations in the designated area.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
• Oversee the scheduling of production activities to meet deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of production and quality control metrics.
• Train and develop processing staff to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot any operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimise overall production processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a processing environment.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Education:

Relevant vocational training or certification in processing or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in processing operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of processing technologies and equipment.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
• Team leadership and coaching capabilities.
• Knowledge of FSSC and HACCP essential

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Additional certifications in health and safety management.

Working Conditions:

• Work primarily in a processing plant environment.
• May require occasional weekend or evening work to oversee production activities.
• Exposure to loud noises, machinery, and potential hazards.
