Our client is looking for a Director of Finance to manage the overall accounts and finance functions of the business. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing a team as well as experience as a Director of Finance.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting:
• Create financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with tax filing and financial reporting standards.
• Oversee the development of the company's finance departments.
• Risk Management:
• Focus on risk management.
• Ensure compliance with finance-related laws, procedures, and regulations.
• Data Analysis:
• Conduct accurate data analysis.
• Advise senior management on strategies to maximize profits.
• Financial Planning:
• Oversee the organization's internal budget and finances.
• Manage bank transactions, loans, debts, and other sources of funding.
• Financial Strategy:
• Develop plans for the organization's long-term financial goals.
• Advise senior managers on profit-maximizing ideas and risks.
• Taxation:
• Oversee taxation issues.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data mining tools like SQL and Access.
• Effective business and financial acumen.
• Advanced math skills and the ability to use numerical information to express ideas and problems.
• Ability to motivate team members for higher productivity and efficiency.
• In-depth knowledge of finance and accounting, including GAAP, international finance, and complex financial documents.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and business judgment skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable information.
• Strong communication skills to notify others of important decisions and keep the company running smoothly.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain month-end deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, financial systems (ERP), and accounting practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or a related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience within a Financial Management role.
• Articles preferred, Finance Management Experience.
