Our client is looking for a dynamic and driven Area Sales Manager to join their team. This role involves overseeing sales operations across a designated territory, ensuring that sales targets are met, and developing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, particularly within the manufacturing and production industry, and be passionate about delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by actively seeking out and engaging potential clients within the manufacturing and production sector.
- Provide in-depth product knowledge and technical support to customers, offering tailored solutions that meet their specific production needs.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product development and technical support, to align sales strategies with business objectives.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management.
- Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, setting clear objectives and providing ongoing support and development.

Qualifications:
- Grade 12.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably within the manufacturing or production industry.
