Our client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Key Accounts Representative to manage and grow their key accounts within the factory sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, account management, and relationship building, with experience in the FMCG sector being advantageous. The successful candidate will report directly to the National Sales Manager - Factories.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients according to budget requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring service effectiveness and client satisfaction.
  • Develop new relationships through field visits, and proactively seek new business and market opportunities.
  • Act as a resource for local and domestic market information, providing insights and developing agreements for factory accounts.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • Plan and execute fortnightly call schedules and sales calls with a value-added approach.
  • Drive and achieve sales volumes and budgets for ingredients and casing categories.
  • Work on promotional activities to enhance product visibility and client engagement.
  • Plan on building market share across all product categories by applying client classifications and strategic selling techniques.
  • Reporting and Administration:
  • Submit weekly sales and ADAPT reports by the required deadlines.
  • Manage sales administration tasks, ensuring all duties are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Review customer accounts monthly to ensure alignment with business objectives and to identify areas for improvement.
  • Product Knowledge and Demonstration:
  • Continuously build on product and industry knowledge to stay ahead of market trends and client needs.
  • Demonstrate products to clients, showcasing their value and applicability to the clients' operations.
  • Ensure deliveries are carried out to company standards, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

  • Fluency in Afrikaans is essential.
  • Experience in the FMCG sector is advantageous.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.

Qualifications:

  • Completed relevant tertiary qualification (BCom in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Retail).
  • 3-5 years of experience in Key Accounts management.
