Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to oversee the overall operation and profitability of their respective regions. The role requires achieving pre-set sales targets, driving growth, and ensuring brand credibility in the market. The successful candidate will report directly to the National Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Growth Management:
  • Achieve budgets and annual growth targets set by stakeholders.
  • Drive channel growth and set, track, and achieve promotional targets, ensuring positive results in both sales and market penetration.
  • Implement and drive the Professional First strategy as outlined by the brand.
  • Establish and maintain the brand's credibility as the leading Vitamin A authority.
  • Brand Presence and Trade Execution:
  • Ensure the elevated presence of the brand in the trade by implementing and monitoring trade checklists to guarantee compliance with planograms, branding, and trade guidelines.
  • Oversee the adherence to the steps of the call in every region and interaction.
  • CRM and Data Management:
  • Implement and utilize the CRM tool effectively, aligning and tracking sales activities and outcomes.
  • Consolidate and analyze data from the CRM system and Palladium reports.
  • Monitor prospecting and lead generation activities from the Customer Relationship Consultant (CRC) team.
  • Account and Team Management:
  • Recruit and develop new accounts in line with channel focus and drive DF machine sales.
  • Contribute positively to the Alpha Team culture by ensuring access to information, facilitating reporting and communication, and supporting informed decision-making.
  • Conduct team meetings, implement processes, and manage team performance and progression, including handling performance management areas, disputes, promotions, and development plans for key individuals.

  • Proven ability to manage sales teams within the region, with a focus on driving results, meeting deadlines, and taking full ownership of the role.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization and externally.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think systematically and conceptually.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
  • Ability to identify areas of weakness and implement controls to drive continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills, with the ability to achieve win-win solutions.
  • Integrity and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales Management.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Sales.
  • ITEC, CIDESCO, or Somatology qualification is advantageous.
