Accountable for specialist work outputs within defined quality standards, operating procedures and work routines. Job Purpose To ensure accurate receiving of various raw materials for batches used in the operation Key Accountabilities and Outputs Raw materials receiving • Operate an electronic weighing scale • Weigh off different ingredients accurately to the correct mass based on a given batch card • Assist with receiving of raw materials upon delivery • Assist with packing of raw materials into storage • Assist with packaging of raw materials into batches • Identify material shortages based on a given batch card and inspection of raw material stock Adherence to the health, safety and environmental standards • Ensure adherence to site safety standards as head of Safety, Health and Environmental Committee • Ensure compliance to all relevant legislation • Ensure adherence to site safety standards and critical member of Safety, Health and Environmental Committee in line with the OSH Act. • Ensure compliance to all relevant legislation and support a safe environment for the Company's Employees, Contractors and Visitors. • Comply with all Food Safety Standards • Receive training on / and adhere to the Hygiene Code of Conduct. • Maintain GMP standards within the workplace • Maintain a good standard of Personal Hygiene General • Responsible to ensure housekeeping is performed and ensure that all products and activities are stored and are executed within the demarcated areas according to the housekeeping policy (green red and yellow areas) • Conversant with relevant business information, policies, processes and procedures • Maintains expected performance standards • While Job Descriptions are written up for the purpose of a basic outline of the work and responsibilities associated with the Job, the Company encourages and expects all employees from time to time, to assist with work that may not be a direct part of their job description.
