Job Title: HR Administrator

Location: Western Cape, West Coast District, Langebaan

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Primary Industry: Human Resources

Job Duties:

  • Supporting the HR department with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining employee records
  • Assisting with recruitment processes including job postings, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks
  • Coordinating training sessions and ensuring training materials are prepared
  • Processing payroll and benefits administration
  • Handling employee queries and providing general HR support
  • General Office Administration and Errands

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR Administrator or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of HR functions and best practises
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in MS Office

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in HR administration

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of HR policies and procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Ability to do analytical problem solving
  • Work independantly
  • Have own initiative and ability to work idependantly

 Qualifications:

  • HR 3 year diploma from University of Technology or
  • HR degree or 
  • Similar qualifications/and/or experience
  • Experience with HRIS software

Working Conditions:

This role is based in an office environment. Standard office hours apply, with occasional overtime required during peak periods. The HR Administrator may need to interact with employees at all levels of the organisation.  Some knowledge of Disciplinary Hearings will be an advanatage.
