Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Marketing based in Johannesburg or Harare, with frequent regional travel. The successful candidate will lead brand communication strategies and initiatives, playing a key role in enhancing brand visibility, reputation, and engagement through the execution of comprehensive marketing and public relations campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the communications departments across the organization.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing and public relations campaigns.
- Act as the organization’s representative at media events and key speaking engagements.
- Ensure consistent and positive messaging across all organizational materials.
- Conduct quality control on all communications and branding efforts.
- Collaborate with media outlets and partners to build strong relationships and enhance media presence.
- Advise internal stakeholders and partners on communication strategies and projects.
- Create and distribute engaging content across multiple platforms.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies.
