Our client is looking for an Executive Manager Production and Maintenance to oversee production processes, drive operational efficiency, and ensure high-quality output while maintaining cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manufacturing operations, process optimization, and strategic leadership within a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional production strategies to align with business objectives.
• Oversee plant operations to optimize production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement and maintain Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHSS) policies.
• Manage production planning, ensuring seamless integration of maintenance and operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production and maintenance processes.
• Ensure the availability and efficient management of spare parts to minimize downtime.
• Develop and oversee preventative and corrective maintenance programs.
• Monitor and improve plant performance, maximizing return on investment.
• Implement internal controls and compliance measures for production and maintenance functions.
• Lead innovation initiatives and explore alternative production models for competitive advantage.
• Foster a customer-centric culture, ensuring production output meets or exceeds expectations.
• Drive digital transformation and automation in plant operations.
• Lead and develop teams to enhance performance and productivity.
• Provide strategic input into manufacturing and production frameworks for sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.
• Registration with the Engineering Institute of Zambia is required.
