Our client is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to support their payroll operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly and bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time using Sage 300.
  • Ensure accurate employee data management and timesheet recording.
  • Compute wages and salary adjustments while adhering to company policies.
  • Handle payroll queries promptly and professionally, liaising with internal and external parties.
  • Prepare and distribute payslips, IRP5s, and other payroll documentation.
  • Perform payroll-related month-end procedures, including importing batches and generating reports.
  • Maintain compliance with labor legislation and ensure confidentiality of payroll information.
  • Support the preparation of monthly income statements and balance sheet items for management reporting.
  • Conduct filing and scanning of payroll documents and undertake ad-hoc payroll duties as required.

Key Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify numerical errors.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll and HRIS software, preferably Sage 300.
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills for query resolution.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and adept at learning and using company personnel systems.
  • Good knowledge of labor legislation and payroll processes.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar payroll administration role.
  • Report writing skills and strong math skills are advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Payroll, or Human Resources.
