Our client is looking for an experienced and passionate Head of Animal Welfare to lead their department. The successful candidate will drive animal welfare initiatives, manage the department, and ensure the highest standards of care and ethical practices. This is a leadership role requiring a strategic mindset, excellent communication, and a deep commitment to animal welfare.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Animal Welfare Department, ensuring all projects align with the organization’s mission.
• Oversee the development and implementation of welfare programs and policies.
• Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards of animal welfare.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including partner organizations and regulatory bodies.
• Manage the department’s budget, resources, and staff.
• Prepare reports and present findings to the board and relevant stakeholders.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and research in animal welfare to continuously improve practices.
