Our client is looking for a knowledgeable and driven Technical Manager to oversee technical operations within their Agriculture Division. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to enhance agricultural productivity through resource optimization, equipment performance improvement, and the implementation of innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the division's technical and operational processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead and mentor technical teams, providing oversight and guidance across multiple operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, supporting negotiations and cost management.
  • Manage technical aspects of annual budgets and ensure operations meet quality and compliance standards.
  • Conduct regular stock checks, oversee stock orders, and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Coordinate vehicle and fleet management, ensuring maintenance schedules and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Group technical team on fleet disposal and purchases.
  • Review and analyze weekly and monthly reports, providing corrective action recommendations to divisional leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Diploma or NQF Level 8 in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
