Our client is looking for a Site Operations Director to oversee the operations of a processing, freezing, and storage facility, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance. This role involves strategic leadership across multiple departments, including engineering, security, and logistics, while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality in site operations.

  • Lead and manage teams across engineering, fish processing, internal security, and logistics.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, including HACCP, ISO, and ASC standards.

  • Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial planning for operations.

  • Maintain high standards of equipment maintenance to minimize downtime.

  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and suppliers.

  • Monitor site security, ensuring effective protection of assets and operations.

  • Drive continuous improvement through innovation and best practices in processing and engineering.

  • Support feed logistics and stock management, working with suppliers and transporters to ensure efficient distribution.

  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic decision-making and operational enhancements.
