Our client in the automotive industry is seeking a skilled and experienced Country Manager to oversee operations for passenger and light commercial vehicles in Malawi. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the automotive industry, with experience in managing multiple dealerships and expertise in the African market.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the efficient operation of dealerships in Malawi
• Ensure accurate stock management and sales tracking
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives aligned with head office directives
• Manage budgets to achieve targeted profits and control operational costs
• Lead customer service initiatives to ensure exceptional client satisfaction
• Drive continuous training and staff development programs
• Implement financial risk management and cost-saving strategies
• Oversee client contracts and maintain strong business relationships
• Execute business planning and quality assurance measures
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation

Key Skills:

• Strong leadership and people management abilities
• Excellent business acumen and problem-solving skills
• Proven success in automotive dealership management
• Ability to manage multiple dealerships, including workshop and sales divisions
• Minimum of 10 years in the automotive industry
• 5–8 years in a senior management role (GM/MD level)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (BCom or equivalent)
