Our client in the FMCG industry is looking for a Customer Marketing Manager to develop, implement, and analyze shopper marketing strategies for various brands across wholesale, pharmacy, grocery, and forecourt customers. This role will play a critical part in achieving the company’s business objectives and meeting annual sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • In-store Brand Activations:
  • Coordinate in-store brand activations in collaboration with Brand Marketing, Finance, and Sales teams, including handling all administrative tasks, planning, and post-activation reviews.
  • Sampling and Campaign Analysis:
  • Develop and manage sampling plans for all brands within the allocated budget, providing post-campaign analysis to assess cost per customer (CPC) and return on investment (ROI).
  • Joint Business Planning:
  • Create and implement Joint Business Plans with major customers for peak seasons (e.g., Christmas, Easter) to optimize brand presence and drive sales.
  • Supplier and Logistics Management:
  • Oversee storage and transportation supplier interactions, ensuring high service standards and cost efficiency.
  • Negotiate with suppliers, challenging quotes and evaluating alternatives to maximize ROI.
  • Budget Management:
  • Manage and allocate large marketing budgets, ensuring all activities align with company targets and financial objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) degree or a suitable tertiary qualification.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an FMCG environment, ideally in Sales or Marketing.
