Our client is looking for a Warehouse/Client Liaison Manager to oversee warehouse operations and client coordination in Beira, Mozambique. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional with a background in warehousing, logistics, and freight forwarding, who thrives in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient storage and movement of commodities.

• Liaise with clients to coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring seamless operations.

• Oversee inventory control, ensuring accurate record-keeping and minimizing discrepancies.

• Supervise warehouse staff and ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.

• Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent service and addressing concerns proactively.

• Work closely with mechanics and technical staff to ensure smooth warehouse functionality.

• Collaborate with logistics and freight forwarding teams to optimize supply chain efficiency.

Key Skills:

• Strong background in warehousing, logistics, and freight forwarding.

• Technical/mechanical understanding, with the ability to oversee warehouse machinery and operations.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Strong people skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

• Ability to work independently in an industrial port city environment.

• Experience with leading shipping lines (Maersk, ONE, MSC, COSCO, etc.) or key competitors (Reload, Steinweg Bridge, Access, DSV) is advantageous.

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or client liaison roles.

• Male under 45 preferred, but open to all candidates meeting experience criteria.

• Prior experience in Beira/Mozambique is a plus but not essential.

Qualifications:

• Degree preferred but not required.

• Zimbabwean or South African nationality preferred, with a valid passport and willingness to relocate.
