About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and technically minded Technical AI Business Analyst to join Haibot's Intelligent Automation and Agentic AI delivery team.
This role will suit someone who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical AI/automation solutions, with hands-on experience in delivering Intelligent Automation and Agentic AI projects.
The successful candidate will work closely with business teams and senior stakeholders to identify opportunities, understand business processes, define requirements and translate these into practical, technically sound solutions that deliver measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Immerse yourself in the business to develop a strong understanding of its operations, systems and ways of working
- Conduct discovery workshops with business teams to identify opportunities and use cases for Intelligent Automation and Agentic AI
- Assess and document potential use cases and communicate recommendations for prioritisation
- Facilitate deep-dive workshops to gather detailed business and technical requirements
- Map current-state business processes, identifying pain points, inefficiencies and opportunities for optimisation
- Develop and document future-state processes and business solution designs
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications suitable for AI and automation solution development
- Present solution designs to business stakeholders and obtain feedback and sign-off
- Collaborate closely with developers and the wider Haibot team to ensure business requirements are translated into effective technical solutions
- Proactively identify and validate opportunities where Intelligent Automation and Agentic AI can improve business processes
- Engage with CIO-level and senior stakeholders to understand strategic priorities and technology plans
- Bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery throughout the solution lifecycle
- Compile test plans and participate in solution testing and validation
- Support solution walkthroughs, user acceptance testing and stakeholder sign-off
- Develop training materials and conduct user training where required
- Monitor solutions and gather feedback to identify opportunities for further optimisation
Technology and Technical Skills
Experience with some or all of the following technologies and concepts:
- Intelligent Automation and RPA tools, such as UiPath and Microsoft Power Automate
- Agentic AI and LLM concepts and tooling, including LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI, Claude and RAG pipelines
- Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power BI and Dataverse
- SQL and data/process analysis
- Process mapping and documentation tools such as Visio, Jira and Confluence
Qualifications and Experience
- BEng or BSc in Industrial Engineering is mandatory. A closely related engineering qualification may be considered where relevant
- 2–3 years' experience as a Business Analyst
- Demonstrable, hands-on experience delivering at least one successful Agentic AI or Intelligent Automation project within a business
- Practical experience in RPA, Intelligent Automation and Agentic AI
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications suitable for AI and automation solution design, rather than traditional business analysis and process documentation only
- Experience with process mapping and current-state/future-state process documentation
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience, with the confidence and ability to work directly and independently with C-suite and CIO-level stakeholders
- Experience collaborating with developers and technical teams to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
Advantageous Experience
- Experience within the motor industry, manufacturing or a large enterprise environment
- Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform or other low-code development platforms
- Previous consulting or client-facing experience
- Relevant certifications such as PL-900, AI-900 or UiPath certifications
Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Confident working independently with senior business and technology stakeholders
- Strong ability to understand complex business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Able to translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions
