We are looking to recruit a Laundry Attendant who is inspiring, empowering and results orientated with a passion for service excellence whilst maintaining standards. The main purpose of the role is to provide a laundry service that delivers clean and neatly ironed linen and towels to all the various and relevant departments within the hotel.

Laundry Attendant | Hourly Paid | Newlands, Cape Town | Onsite 

Key Accountabilities:

1. Ensure all linen and towels are washed, dried, and ironed to hotel standards.
2. Operate laundry machines and equipment safely and efficiently.
3. Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards.
4. Track laundry supplies and report when stock needs replenishing
5. Log any product fault with management.
6. Take pride in your work.

Minimum Requirements:

- Matric or equivalent (Advantageous)
- Basic cleaning/laundry operation knowledge.
- Previous laundry experience at 4/5* level in the same or similar position
- Strong physical health
- Must be fluent in English, written and spoken
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Must have a can-do attitude and follow through on actions in a timely way with minimum supervision.
- Demonstrate tenacity and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Clean criminal record
