Job Title: Front of House Namibian Citizen (Caprivi Strip)Location:Namibia Job Type:Permanent, Full-Time Primary Industry:Travel, Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality Job Duties:- Greeting and welcoming guests in a professional and friendly manner - Managing reservations and bookings for guests (Phone, email OTAs) - Providing information about services and facilities - Handling guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and efficiently - Ensuring the front desk area is clean and organised - Coordinating with other departments to meet guest needs - Assisting with check-ins and check-outs - Processing payments and maintaining accurate records - Performing administrative tasks as required - Maintain standards & SOPS - Upsell guest activities -Cashups, invoives, orders, supplies and basic stock control. Required Qualifications:- Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and organisational skills - Proficiency in using computer systems and software (excel, google, POS/booking systems) - Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends Education:- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required Experience:- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred Knowledge and Skills:- Knowledge of lodge operations and procedures - Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively - Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy - Fluency in English (additional languages a plus) Preferred Qualifications:- Certification in hospitality management or related field is advantageous Working Conditions:Remote location so will be on a cycle system to be discussed in the interview
