Job Title: Release Train Engineer (Salesforce)

Location: Gauteng, Johannesburg Metro, Johannesburg

Job Type: Contract (Full-Time)

Primary Industry: Banking and Finance

Secondary Industry: Insurance

Job Duties:

• Facilitate and lead the Agile Release Train (ART) processes and execution
• Coordinate and communicate with various stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of Salesforce releases
• Implement and improve Agile practises within the release train
• Identify and escalate risks and issues impacting release delivery
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and development teams to align on release goals

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Certified Salesforce Administrator or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in Agile methodologies and working in Agile Release Trains
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and its capabilities

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAFe certification
• Experience working in the Banking and Insurance industries
• Knowledge of DevOps practises

Working Conditions:

• This role is based in Johannesburg and may require occasional travel
• Expected to work full-time hours on a contract basis
• Work closely with various teams and stakeholders in a collaborative environment
