Our client, a leading company in Harare, is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Audit Executive to lead and strengthen their internal audit function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the internal audit strategy for all business units.
• Conduct risk assessments and establish controls to mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks.
• Review financial and operational processes across all business units.
• Supervise and coordinate audit activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership to audit staff, ensuring continuous development and adherence to ethical auditing practices.
• Present audit findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans to executive management.
• Ensure IT audit processes are incorporated, particularly in ERP systems and financial reporting mechanisms.
• Oversee the documentation and implementation of audit recommendations.

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of risk management, governance, and compliance frameworks.
• IT audit experience, particularly in ERP systems, is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA, ACCA, or CIA preferred).
• CISA qualification an added advantage
• 5–7 years of auditing experience
