Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Midweight Shopify Developer to enhance and support their e-commerce experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing responsive, accessible front-end features aligned with brand standards and will play a key role in daily website maintenance, content updates, and campaign support.

Responsibilities

• Build, update, and maintain Shopify 2.0 themes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid

• Translate design files into responsive, accessible Shopify sections and templates

• Upload and update homepage banners, promotional graphics, and content sections

• Integrate and style third-party Shopify apps and develop light custom features

• Configure and manage dynamic metafields and schema for flexible content control

• Ensure performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility

• Collaborate with designers and digital teams to support product launches and seasonal campaigns

• Use Git/GitHub version control and maintain clean, scalable code

• Debug and QA front-end issues, including layout, responsiveness, and app integration

• Support the implementation of CRO testing tools through front-end code changes

Key Skills

• 2–4 years of hands-on Shopify experience with multiple theme builds or customisations

• Strong front-end development skills: HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript

• Familiarity with Liquid or eagerness to learn it

• Experience with Shopify admin, metafields, schema-driven sections, and app integrations

• Solid QA and debugging skills across browsers and devices

• Basic version control proficiency (Git)

• Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate with non-technical teams

• Awareness of SEO-friendly practices in front-end development

• Willingness to assist with content and banner updates as needed

Qualifications

• Experience with front-end CRO tools, analytics tag setup, and CRM/email tools is advantageous

• Exposure to API integrations to enhance Shopify functionality is a plus
