Our client is looking for a qualified Electrician to maintain, repair, and install electrical systems within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial electrical systems, fault-finding, and preventative maintenance to ensure minimal downtime and optimal production efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations on machinery and equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and fault-finding on electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions to minimize production downtime.
- Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical wiring, control panels, and automation systems.
- Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to optimize machinery performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs.
- Assist with energy efficiency initiatives and recommend improvements.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols in an industrial setting.
- Provide emergency breakdown support when required.
