Our client is looking for a qualified Electrician to maintain, repair, and install electrical systems within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial electrical systems, fault-finding, and preventative maintenance to ensure minimal downtime and optimal production efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations on machinery and equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections and fault-finding on electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions to minimize production downtime.
  • Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical wiring, control panels, and automation systems.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to optimize machinery performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs.
  • Assist with energy efficiency initiatives and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols in an industrial setting.
  • Provide emergency breakdown support when required.

  • Excellent understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and control panels.

Qualifications

  • Trade-tested Electrician qualification.
