Project Experience:

• Lead C&I Engineer on multi-disciplinary EPCM and EPC projects, from FEED, FEL, DFS, BFS through to commissioning.
• Design of control system architectures (PLC/SCADA/DCS) including redundancy, high availability, disaster recovery.
• Execution of FAT, SAT, iFAT, YAT, loop checking, and commissioning on live plants.
• Management of subcontractors, interface with electrical, mechanical, and vendor packages.
• Mentoring & leadership of junior engineers and graduate engineers.
• Strong track record in international projects (Africa, Middle East, Europe, APAC).

• 15+ years’ hands-on C&I engineering and project delivery.
• Balanced skill set: design, programming, commissioning, management.
• Experience with multi-vendor ecosystems (Siemens, Rockwell, ABB, Schneider, Wonderware).
• Deep knowledge of mining and process industries, adaptable to power, energy, and oil & gas.
• Recognised for technical authority, client engagement, and mentoring younger engineers.

Education and Certifications:

• B.Eng / BSc Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics Engineering
• Pr.Eng / Pr.Tech registered with ECSA
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Functional Safety – TÜV Rheinland (IEC 61508/61511)
• CCNA or Industrial Networking Certification
• Siemens, Rockwell, ABB vendor-specific certifications (PCS7, TIA Portal, FactoryTalk, 800xA, etc.)
