Our client is seeking a motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to support the marketing team with below-the-line activities. This hands-on opportunity is ideal for someone eager to learn about brand management — from managing point-of-sale materials to coordinating in-store campaigns and ensuring timely execution. Throughout the internship, you’ll gain exposure to marketing coordination, in-store execution, and performance reporting, while learning how brands operate in a fast-paced commercial environment. Key Duties and Responsibilities Trade Marketing and In-store Execution (45%) Coordinate product tastings, ensuring logistics and materials are in place. Assist with the production and delivery of point-of-sale materials (POSM) and promotional items. Monitor promotional activity and pricing compliance across key retailers. Support artwork coordination and approval for retailer promotions. Conduct store visits and compile photo reports and feedback. Business and Performance Reporting (35%) Assist in preparing monthly performance and marketing reports. Support post-campaign reviews and ROI analyses. Handle ad hoc data requests and assist with competitor tracking and summaries. Administrative and Ad Hoc Support (20%) Maintain organized marketing files and tracking documents. Support campaign-related admin, logistics, and supplier coordination. Contribute to internal marketing projects and initiatives. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (NQF 7). 0–1 year of marketing experience (internship or practical exposure advantageous). Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to task completion. Reliable, respectful, and willing to ask questions when unsure. Eagerness to learn through hands-on experience.
