A leading textile manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Industrial Engineer to optimise production processes, enhance operational efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility. The ideal candidate will bring strong problem-solving skills, technical insight, and a passion for driving lean, efficient manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Process Improvement & Optimisation

Analyse current manufacturing workflows, material flow, and equipment utilisation to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.

Develop and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve throughput.

Conduct time-and-motion studies, line balancing, and productivity assessments.
Production Planning & Efficiency

Evaluate production requirements and create optimised manufacturing layouts and work methods.

Support capacity planning initiatives and assist with forecasting labour and equipment needs.

Monitor production metrics and recommend improvements for consistent performance.
Quality & Compliance
-
Collaborate with the Quality Department to ensure processes adhere to quality standards.

Identify root causes of defects or variances and propose corrective actions.
-
Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for improved consistency.
Data Analysis & Reporting
-
Use statistical tools and engineering principles to evaluate production data and identify trends.
-
Prepare reports and present findings to management teams.
-
Track KPIs related to productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction.
Continuous Improvement Projects
-
Lead or support lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other CI initiatives.

Work cross-functionally with production, maintenance, and supply chain teams to implement long-term efficiency strategies.

Facilitate training and support the adoption of best practices.
Minimum Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
-
2–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (textile experience advantageous).

Strong analytical skills with experience in process analysis, workflow design, and productivity optimisation.

Proficiency in MS Excel and production analysis tools; knowledge of CAD is beneficial.

Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and attention to detail.
