KEY OUTPUTS:

  • Coordinate project meetings, take minutes, and distribute action points.
  • Actively participate in meetings, specifically to contribute knowledge on consultant’s processes and help identify business requirements.
  • Assist with project related follow ups, with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist consultants with questions around processes and systems that fall within the Project Management team’s scope.
  • Perform necessary testing for IT Helpdesk tickets related to systems that fall within the Project Management team’s scope.
  • Assist with data maintenance and analysis for projects within the project management team’s scope.
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders involved in projects run by the project management team.
  • Perform basic business needs analysis and document business requirements, with the support of the Project Manager.
  • Business Analysis
    • Meeting with various stakeholders in the business to determine core business need to document system requirements.
    • Documenting business requirements, with the support of the Project Manager.
    • Acting as a “translator” to assist in streamlining communication between the Touring team and the systems team.
  • Testing
    • Prepare testing checklists, ensuring that all core functionality is included as part of the test cases.
    • Perform Testing duties at various stages of the project lifecycle including
      • investigative testing,
      • alpha testing,
      • beta testing, and
      • final implementation testing in a live environment.
    • Maintain records of testing procedures and results.
  • Identify and train internal stakeholders on how to conduct testing and correctly complete and submit testing checklists.
    • Follow up on testing assigned to internal stakeholders.
  • Implementation
    • Document Business Operating Procedures for new processes or process updates related to projects that fall within the Project Management team’s scope.
    • Advise on effective strategies for training and communication with business.
    • Assist with communication to business when requested.
  • Project Administrator Duties:
    • Act as a Project Administrator for specifically assigned projects. This will include relieving the project manager when on leave and performing all their duties for assigned projects.
    • Lead smaller projects with the guidance of the Project Manager.
    • Communicate to business for projects where you are assigned as the project administrator.
    • Support the Project Manager in initial project planning and milestone monitoring.
    • Participate in post-project reviews for continuous improvement.
    • Send progress updates in conjunction with the Project Manager
  • Conduct training for the Trainers involved in new system implementations for functions or processes that fall within the Project Management team’s scope.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Understanding the software/product development life cycle and basic project management principles
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
  • Entry level Business Analyst skills: Business needs, requirements documentation, and workflow documentation.

 

PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Previous consulting experience is advantageous.
