To oversee and manage academic planning and quality advancement activities, processes, and outcomes in support

of the University’s strategic priorities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A relevant Master’s degree.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in higher education, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in navigating the South African higher education policy landscape.
  • Proven experience in leading and facilitating academic planning and quality assurance initiatives within a higher education context.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the quality assurance frameworks and standards governing higher education.
  • Established history of driving successful academic programme reviews, accreditations and continuous improvement initiatives.
