Job Title: QA Engineer (Forex experience)

Job Duties:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications within the Forex domain
• Identify, analyse, and document defects, errors, and inconsistencies in software programme functions, outputs, online screens, and content
• Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality assurance processes are integrated throughout the software development lifecycle
• Participate in design and requirement reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, and potential issues
• Conduct regression testing and performance testing to ensure software applications are reliable, scalable, and perform efficiently

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer in the banking or financial services industry, with specific experience in Forex
• Demonstrated knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications in quality assurance or software testing
• Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Experience:

• 3-5 years experience as a QA Engineer in the banking or financial services industry, with specific experience in Forex
• 3-5 years experience in Automation /Manual Testing
• Understanding of SDLC and software testing concepts
• Experience with tool stack TFS, JIRA, Test Rail and Confluence
• Familiaririty with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Experince in testingin different environments, including web, mobile and desktop applications

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
