Our client is looking for a Assitant Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient planning, dispatching, fleet supervision, and team performance. The Assistant Supervisor will oversee daily activities to ensure timely deliveries, compliance with cross-border regulations, and the efficient utilization of warehouse resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise warehouse operations, including receiving, dispatching, storage, and inventory control.

• Coordinate truck dispatching and routing schedules for local and cross-border deliveries.

• Lead and manage warehouse staff, including general workers and forklift operators.

• Ensure all warehouse and fleet activities are performed in line with standard operating procedures.

• Conduct daily checks on trucks and forklifts and oversee routine fleet maintenance.

• Maintain accurate records of goods in transit and ensure proper documentation for cross-border transportation.

• Promote and enforce health, safety, and housekeeping standards within the warehouse.

• Monitor and track vehicle maintenance schedules and proactively address any fleet-related issues.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and drive operational efficiency.

• Allocate workload and set performance expectations for the team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of Matric (Grade 12).

• Forklift Driver’s License – essential.

• Code 14 Driver’s License 

• Proven experience in warehousing, distribution, and dispatch coordination.

• Knowledge and experience with cross-border logistics processes.

• Strong understanding of fleet operations and maintenance.
