Our client is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee operations at their Sasolburg facility. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production, safety compliance, and operational excellence in line with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely.

  • Implement and maintain best practices in manufacturing, quality control, and process optimization.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Manage plant budgets, cost control, and resource allocation to maximize profitability.

  • Drive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, engineering, and quality assurance.

  • Analyze production data and implement strategies for process improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations within an industrial setting.

  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, plant operations, and regulatory requirements.

  • Proficiency in production planning, cost management, and process optimization.
