Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Finishing Foreman to join their team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong track record in delivering high-end finishes, and the ability to lead site teams to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all finishing activities on site, including painting, tiling, flooring, cabinetry, and final touch-ups.

• Manage and direct subcontractors and artisans to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to deadlines.

• Conduct site inspections to ensure all finishing work meets the required specifications and quality standards.

• Identify and resolve any issues or defects promptly to avoid delays.

• Work closely with the site manager and other team members to ensure smooth project handover.

• Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and quality checks.

• Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finishing work on commercial or residential construction projects.

• Proven experience in managing finishing teams and subcontractors.

• Relevant trade qualification or technical certification will be advantageous.

• Sound knowledge of finishing materials, methods, and quality standards.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport preferred.
