Our client is looking for a dedicated and dynamic Economics Teacher to join their secondary school team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching IGCSE and A-Level Economics, ensuring high-quality education and student success.
Responsibilities
- Planning & Teaching:
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level Economics curriculum.
- Set high academic expectations and support students in achieving excellence.
- Use innovative teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs.
- Assessment & Student Progress:
- Monitor and assess student performance through data-driven approaches.
- Provide targeted support for students, including those with special educational needs or high potential.
- Student Development & Pastoral Care:
- Support student well-being, personal growth, and academic progression.
- Maintain a positive learning environment and uphold behavior standards.
- Collaboration & Professional Development:
- Work closely with colleagues, sharing best practices and supporting staff development.
- Stay up-to-date with subject knowledge and integrate technology into teaching.
- Parental & Community Engagement:
- Maintain strong relationships with parents and provide regular student progress updates.
