Our client is looking for a dedicated and dynamic Economics Teacher to join their secondary school team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching IGCSE and A-Level Economics, ensuring high-quality education and student success.

Responsibilities

  • Planning & Teaching:
  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level Economics curriculum.
  • Set high academic expectations and support students in achieving excellence.
  • Use innovative teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Assessment & Student Progress:
  • Monitor and assess student performance through data-driven approaches.
  • Provide targeted support for students, including those with special educational needs or high potential.
  • Student Development & Pastoral Care:
  • Support student well-being, personal growth, and academic progression.
  • Maintain a positive learning environment and uphold behavior standards.
  • Collaboration & Professional Development:
  • Work closely with colleagues, sharing best practices and supporting staff development.
  • Stay up-to-date with subject knowledge and integrate technology into teaching.
  • Parental & Community Engagement:
  • Maintain strong relationships with parents and provide regular student progress updates.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of student success and academic achievement.
